I found this article in the Daily Voice... It documents a US Congressman who was fired for dressing up as SpongeBob Squarepants. Apparently, he was trying to get his son interested in politics. A websearch later seemed to suggest that this congreesman never existed, and that it was a face-saving psuedonym for Patrick Kennedy, son of Ted Kennedy (but this did come from a right-wing blog, so shouldn't be trusted). I got this image of the actual event from the Weekly World News

The real question is how can a congressman be fired when he is voted in by the public office?

...Do you not realize that World Weekly News is a tabloid...? One that is not even slightly ment for serious consideration...? I would say that if you've seen a story anywhere that has also been in WWN, it's a bunch of crap.

Dear Garret,
Very Perceptive of you. The Weekly News is a tabloid. So is the Daily Voice. And so is ArtHeat. Glad we could clear that up.
