So I'm chatting here to Dave Scadden who found out he got bounced from the show at the what if the world... on the day. I think his stuff was a bit too hardliving for them. Digital prints are not really acceptable out there, not pretty enough. Dave is angry, and I would suggest that Justin tries to keep indoors for a while. Says Dave "Fuck you, I'm not a student. Fuck you in the eye, fuck you in the nose, fuck you in the jaw socket." Could someone please give him a show, this would at least make for something interesting.
The two other highlights were the fake Conrad Botes by his lesser known brother Brandt Botes (sorry you didn't quite make it to Michael Stevenson), and Ruth Sacks' tiger scratches on the wall.
All the cool kids were out in force, looking at pretty stuff. Too much fun.
