Ed Young is launching his new work for Very Real Time 2.

The Very Real Time 2 project series and artists’ exchange runs in Cape Town during the month of October, 2006. Artists’ involved include: Sung Hwan Kim (South Korea/NL), Jimmy Robert (France), Jeannine Diego Medina and Conrado Tostado (Mexico), Ed Young (SA), and Mieke van der Voort (NL). Organised by Gregg Smith.

Ed Young will keep you updated of his progress/process daily on the VRT website. Follow this daily if you like and if it bores the shit out of you don't. You can also Email him your comments at babyhasselhof@yahoo.com. The comments will be uploaded onto the site.

At least when David Blaine made an exhibition of himself, he remained locked in a glass box, thus sparing the world his (no doubt) idiotic analysis. Not so for our Ed, who continues to think that his life has relevance, and that he can write.
