the flier looks like real eighties trash. hope we haven't been flogged their lousiest work that wouldn't show anywhere else, like Mr Picasso the Bottom of the Barrel garbage patrol. We hope for the best.
Africa: what Africa? Who are WE? Who do you speak for? Dunce! Why the fuck do you read this blog anyway? And why do you make oh so stupid disadvantaged comments when you know zip about the artists who will be showing? Your prejudice and style of complaint has completely profiled you.
For you edification, brick-head, bonehead, both Atlas and Nauman are top of the class—yesterday today and tomorrow—in the real world that is. Climb out from under your rock and do some research: dumb cluck.
Video is just a medium. That we are still swamped by a lot of boring, & uninspiired contemporary work in the medium does not mean we should not be excited by the opportunity to view any of the output of these guys. I hope that Michaelis and it's staff make more use of their profile and resources to mount this kind of work.
keep your wig on mr world, I just said I hope the work in question is good work and not crap work like we got dumped with for that lousy Picasso show. I know exactly who bruce fucking nauman is, but it wouldn;t be the first time that we got sent the poorest work by the 'top of the class' that gets shipped around the third world for bargain rates. I hope this show is an exception.

And telling members of the public to 'do their homework' is and this is a 'top of the class show' makes you sound like you're in high school, which the rest of us are not. If you happen to know its a good show, why don't you just say so?

People who attend shows like this are there for the wine. Thats it. The usual clan of Michaelis affiliates turn up, show their faces and sod off again.
Interesting work I must say...But tough crowd.
